Solar PV Off-Grid Systems

The Solar PV off Grid systems are supported for installation for Domestic and Commercial areas with electricity shortages that uses diesel generators for backup.

The Solar PCU (Power Condition Unit) is a bi-directional inverter system. The PCU Operates in parallel with the grid utility. Solar Photovoltaic modules Convert Solar Energy into Electrical Energy as DC Power. This DC Power is used to charge the batteries through a charger controller and a stand-alone AC power source is produced through the inverter and used for the Regular Utility Load.

Depending on the solar irradiance/weather condition and the load connected, the solar PCU will automatically select between the following modes Solar Mode/UPS Mode/Grid Mode.

An installation that is not connected to the electricity grid.

Mode of Operations

  • Solar – Battery – Grid (SBG) (Default Setting)
  • Solar – Grid – Battery (SGB)

In this mode – once solar power very low the load is transferred to the battery. If battery discharges to a present level, the load is transferred to the grid.

EFFICIENCY

Higher module conversion efficiency and lower resistance are characteristic of the half-cell structure.

icon

TECHNOLOGY

The new circuit design with multi-busbar technology prevents current losses increase tolerance to micro cracks.

icon

LOWER INTERNAL RESISTANCE

Boosts module power helping to achieve minimal power loss with respect to previous variant modules.

icon

FIELD RELIABILITY

Improved due to multiple contact points on the cell which lowers the cell stress during module fabrication

PARTIAL SHADOW CONDITIONS

Implementation of bypass diodes in split JB series-parallel connections enable the module to perform in partial shadow conditions with respect to full-cell module.
